Event Description
We are back at The Oak for our indoor series the infamous SPICYMUSIC CLUBNACHT and are excited to share our headliner is Australian DJ & producer Josh Heywood [Naarm/Melb], who will be playing a special 2 hour all Vinyl techno set!

As one of Melbourne’s rising force, @josh.heywood is an artist that has established a formidable reputation. With an unwavering passion for electronic music, Josh’s unique high energy sounds creates infectious grooves and moments on dance floors.
Drawing inspiration from a blend of old school and groovy techno, his unique style of mixing pushes boundaries through 3-4 channel mixing.

Josh is a regular at Melbourne’s best night clubs such as Revolver Upstairs, Glamorama, Turbo and New Guernica. He is also on the festival circuit having played at Beyond The Valley Festival and Esoteric Festival.

Production wise, Josh has a focus on percussive elements, hard hitting kicks and groovy leads. At a young age, Josh has gained support on his music that has been played around the globe at events/venues such as Ultra (Spain & Miami), Amnesia Ibiza, Ibiza Rocks, The Warehouse (leeds) and the WHP in Manchester to name a few.

This will be Josh’s Tassie debut and we can not wait to have him play & take us all on a unique journey into the world of vinyl where electronic music originated!
