If you see a spider in your house, do you run away screaming? Or do you get excited? Spiders may have a bad reputation, but they are actually vital for healthy ecosystems and have fascinating behaviours. Join entomologist Dr Lizzy Lowe to learn all about these weird and wonderful invertebrates and go on an outdoor ‘spider walk’ near the Library and see what you can find! Suitable for ages 5 – 12 years.
