Event Description
STEAMWORKS PRESENTS:
EXPLORING ELECTRICITY WORKSHOP
Learn all about electricity, see exciting demonstrations, and do some hands-on experiments.
This workshop will explore:
- what makes an electric circuit a circuit?
- what is a battery?
- how do buzzers make sound?
By the end of the workshop, these young scientistswill put all these skills together to design and build their own electric game to take home!
This workshop is for kids in grades 4 to 6 (or aged 8-12 years)
Note to parents/carers: Participants will be fully supervised throughout this workshop and will only work with AA batteries and low-voltage LED lights and wires
