Subsonic Music Festival turns 10! 

And just like that, Subsonic Music is putting on its 10th weekend of exceptional underground electronic, roots and soulful music, mind-bending performance arts, and thought-provoking workshops and installations in the zesty green surrounds of Riverwood Downs, New South Wales.

A monumental milestone for the Subsonic Music community, our big one-0 is inevitably a time to both reflect on the decade gone past and to look forward to all that’s yet to come. Running since 2009, Subsonic Music Festival is handmade and home-grown, created and orchestrated year on year by over 200 lateral thinking individuals - the majority volunteers -with the collective goal to craft an environment for underground talents to captivate, for minds to flourish, for souls to connect and unwind, and for spirits to ground, revive and reignite.

For our Sub18 warmup shindig we’ve decided to bring something extraordinary, even for our standards (and believe us we like to keep it fresh & loopy as is), to you beautiful Sydney - a never seen before 3 day non-stop multi-genre musical & performance art bonanza at our beloved SubClub stomping ground The Bridge Hotel, brought to you by a whole host of crews in collaboration: ★ S.A.S.H ★, Mantra Collective, Oomph,The House of Mince, Conspiracy, Bassic Records, Haunted Science,Breakneck Entertainment & DUNJ.

And just because we can we’re topping off the glory with the French beatmeister DJ W!LD (Dailycid Music, Robsoul Recordings - FR).

DJ W!LD’s rise to prominence was no overnight phenomenon. Without hype or fanfare, he has grown from the Parisian underground to resident at some of the world’s most acclaimed clubs, with an expansive discography backing up his formidable DJing skills. We’ve been digging his seriously exquisite productions for years and can’t wait to catch him in action!

Also on headline duties from Denmark : One Man Orchestra (Iboga / Bassic) 

One Man Orchestra returns to Australia, bringing the flavours of the famously illusive project as well as the aptly named, fresh musical endeavour “Westerby”. With a focus on deep, intricate melodies and exotic tribalism, the Westerby project experiments with the synergy between acoustic instruments and mechanical synthesizers whilst exploring progressive with a uniquely invoking, melodic tendency.
