‘Suited - The Melbourne Cup Event 2016’

Suited Events know how to throw a Melbourne Cup celebration and this year we are turning up the heat! Guests of ‘Suited - The Melbourne Cup Event 2016’ will enjoy the day’s festivities as we take you to the South Perth Foreshore, making this the largest scale event Suited guests have ever seen. The expected 2,000 guests will be swept away with spectacular views of the Perth skyline as they sip on champagne on the river’s edge.

Much like our guests, we like to make a statement and this year we are taking the fashion runway show to new heights.... Models will strut in front of guests and take on a unique three-level structure as part of a new and bold catwalk production. Yet to be seen in Perth, the three-level structure is an exciting feature of Suited Events runway show and will no doubt thrill guests while the models climb from level to level.

Guests will immerse themselves in the social atmosphere as they are entertained by local Perth bands. Kat Curnow and Astrid Ripepi will take to the stage with their 5 piece bands to play a selection of covers and classics to get guests in the mood for the day’s festivities.

Later in the day an array of Perth’s hottest DJ’s will be playing the best in R&B and house party tunes - which will no doubt get the notorious Suited dance floor heating up as the sun goes down.

With the event commencing at 10:30am and the festivities running until 8:30pm, we anticipate this event to sell out in a matter of weeks.

IMPORTANT: As the event is held at the South Perth Foreshore we would like to remind all guests that the event will be held on grass. For guests comfort and safety we suggest ladies to be cautious of wearing stilettos and to opt for wedges or investing in heel stoppers. 

New Additions

Suited Events introduce two new additions to this years event- the Pimm's Cocktail Area which will be featured in the general admission area and the SUITED Exclusive VIP Area.

General Admission Area
Our stylish guests will be treated to the best in hospitality with bars serving up some of the finest cup day classics and food stalls set up with tasty treats by Food Graffiti. This year we are bringing guests the Pimm's Cocktail Area! There will be no better way to enjoy the fruity Pimm's cocktail range on this prestigious spring day. With lounging areas, live entertainment all day, fashion shows and prime views of the Swan River guests will be spoilt for choice.

SUITED Exclusive VIP Area
The SUITED Exclusive VIP Area will be enthralled in all that is stylish and sophisticated with a private bar, front row seats to the fashion shows and an inclusive food and beverage package. It wouldn’t be a Melbourne Cup event without the crowd favourite Louis Roederer serving up chilled glasses of champagne and this year Suited Events have teamed with the award winning AIX Rosé to bring guests the indulgent taste of rosé.

Private Lounges
Once again Suited Events will be offering private lounge areas for those who want to experience the day as a group in style. These private areas will be available for purchase but guests will need to ensure they book well in advance, as they are anticipated to sell out quickly. With beautiful canapés being served, each with access to a private bar and prime viewing for the fashion shows, this will take the Melbourne Cup experience to the next level.

General Admission Tickets: First release tickets start at $88

- The highly anticipated Runway Show featuring some of Perth's biggest designer labels;
- Live all day entertainment including a 10-piece band with vocals by the amazing Astrid Ripepi and Katherine Curnow;

- Exclusive access to the VIP Area;
