Everyone’s favourite live music series is back! Grab tickets for Sunset Sessions 2025 and spend your Saturday afternoons in the heart of Sydney Harbour!
25 January 2025 – Eric Avery (6:45pm)Eric Avery is a celebrated violinist, vocalist, dancer, and composer from the Ngiyampaa, Yuin, and Gumbangirr peoples of NSW. Drawing deeply from his family’s custodial songs, his haunting compositions often feature him singing in the Ngiyampaa language while playing the violin.
Gaining international recognition, Avery has collaborated with some of the world’s most renowned artists, including Yo-Yo Ma and Tina Arena. Performances include collaborations with Camerata Queensland, Ensemble Offspring, the JACK Quartet, Marrugeku, and several of Australia’s major orchestras. He is also a 2021 Myer Creative Fellow.

Dyagula is a Wiradjuri | Gamilaraay | Ngunawal | Walgalu Songwoman based on Gadigal land. A powerful and delicate multi-genre vocalist, composer, artist, music director, creator, and language revivalist. Dyagula means ‘Lyrebird’ in Wiradjuri and in her solo sets accompanied by Jack Hickey. She beautifully weaves her interpretive translations of well-known songs into her grandmother’s native tongue, often described as a remarkable inspiring experience. Her live performance was described by ABC Radio as ‘An esoteric experience not to be missed.’
