ZINES WORKSHOP #2 - 'Make a Zine!'

In October 2018 we will be hosting the Sunshine Coast Independent comics and zine fair called 'SUNZINE'. In the lead-up to the Fair, we have planned 4 workshops throughout 2018 to build & develop local skills in zine making. Its a chance to learn about zines or develop your existing skills to another level.

Brisbane zine legend Jeremy Staples will be leader in this second workshop.

Who’s it For?: Adults, high school or tertiary students.

What are zines? Come along to Caloundra Regional Gallery on Saturday April 28th from 9.00 am til noon and make your own. Zines are small, simple publications that can be anything you want. You’ll make several on the day and go away with the skills to make more. (WARNING: Zines are addictive)

Bring: Scissors, paper, old magazine, letters, advertising for collage (not too much!), pencils, textas, pens, a Uhu water-based glue stick (yellow), a ruler.

Cost: The event is free, but registration is necessary (so we can manage numbers) and a gold coin donation will be a welcome contribution.
