The Adsy Effect Masquerade Ball 2018

The Adsy Effect is an annual fundraising event with all profits from the event donated to MATES in Construction.

This is the fifth Adsy Effect event and together we have raised and donated over $36,000 to Australian mental health charities.

One in five Australians are affected by mental illness each year and at least six of these take their own life every day.

These frightening statistics are even more prevalent in the construction industry where every year 190 construction workers take their own lives. This means we lose a construction worker every second day to suicide.

Construction workers are six times more likely to die from suicide than an accident at work and young construction workers are over two times more likely to take their own lives than other young Australian men.
