Event Description

Join the International Trade and Investment Centre CCIWA as we introduce our suite of services, including Australian Made logo access. Michael Carter, Manager of the International Trade and Investment Centre will present on behalf of CCIWA, then it's over to Australian Made Chief Executive Officer, Ben Lazzaro and Export Manager, Jessica Beard for some exciting survey results on the international recognition of the Australian Made logo.

CCIWA is a founding member of the Australian Made, Australian Grown Campaign. We are the WA agent and contact for new and existing subscribers. Australian Made, Australian Grown helps people understand why it is important to support local farmers and manufacturers and makes it easy for them to do so, by assisting them to identify authentic Australian made or grown products. The Australian Made logo only appears on authenticated products that qualify as being Australian made or grown under a strict selection criterion.

The AMAG logo is an identifier of quality and genuinely manufactured or grown Aussie products worldwide. All licensed products are featured in the Australian Made online marketplace. Licensees are provided with essential marketing tools that will help them grow their business and are offered support and guidance to ensure that they get maximum value from using the logo. Year-round marketing promotes products through a mix of on and off-line advertising and promotion.

Ben Lazzaro, Chief Executive Officer from Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL) will introduce the logo and Jessica Beard, Export Manager, AMCL will share the key insights from their recent international research across six export markets on consumer awareness and perceptions of the Australian Made logo and Australian products.

Australia exports $195 billion annually to international markets. The green and gold kangaroo logo is an instantly recognisable and trusted symbol showing goods are of high quality, clean and green Australian origin which consumers trust and actively look for. Since January 2020 we have had a 400% increase in applications. Learn how having the Australian Made logo can have an impact overseas as well as domestically.
