In 2016, Incursion returns with a bang! Our first party of 2016 sees us host our third instalment of our annual Masquerade. This isn’t your average masquerade however… with Joe Letz of Combichrist and the Icons of Powergroove, prepare for THE BLACK MASQUERADE.

The 7th of May 2016 is the date to save in your calendar. Our usual haunt, the heritage-listed Gilkisons Dance Studio, will again be decked out in elegant décor to mask the party that is Incursion. Yes, this actually is a masquerade party. Your mask is limited only by your imagination.

Described as a “mini-fest”, Incursion parties feel like a festival (but without the douches) in a banging club environment. Following on from the Halloween success of Daniel Graves’ DJ tour, Incursion is proud to bring DJ Joe Letz of COMBICHRIST to Perth for his first ever Australian DJ tour.

With two levels of entertainment to muse over, you'll be kicking on until the wee hours of the morning. Expect to be stomping the night away in ‘The Basement’ where you’ll hear Perth’s finest Alternative DJ’s spinning the latest and greatest in Alternative, Industrial, EBM, Metal, 80’s & JJJ classic tunes.

In the tradition of The Black Masquerade, in ‘The Catacomb’ you’ll be treated to the Icons of Powergroove. We've rounded up the best in town and you’ll see sets delivered by Rubble of Empire performing Rage Against The Machine, Cold Fate shredding PanterA and One of None bringing the technical beats of Fear Factory. The room’s tight, so get to the front and stay there. Ready to break your neck?

Admire alternative dancers and performers as they display their feats of skill and fearlessness for your viewing pleasure.

Keep an eye out for amazing photographers on the night, Outback Bob Photography and Shaun Ferraloro Photography. They’ll be roaming around in the background capturing all the great moments and memories. Be sure to show them some love!

Responsible for monster remix’s of Rammstein and Motionless In White, Joe brings a fierce energy that is sure to keep dancefloors frenzied. He has supported Rammstein on their US tour in 2012. He spins an energetic and cohesive mix of modern electronica, electro, industrial, EBM and more.
