To celebrate WA Tree Festival and build appreciation for the beautiful natural landscape and views of Yellagonga Regional Park, the City, in collaboration with Bike Force Joondalup, is pleased to host a FREE Intro to Mountain Bike Riding event at the new Yalbunullup Mountain Bike Trails.
The coaching sessions are designed to be fun, supportive and educational with focus on enjoyment and building confidence riding a bike on off-road conditions. Topics covered include body positioning on the bike, climbing and descending, braking, gears, and trail etiquette. Participants must provide their own mountain bike with off-road tyres and working brakes, helmet and enclosed shoes. The Yalbunullup trails will remain open to the public and you are welcome to practice your new skills after the session.
Important note: Due to current road works on Joondalup Drive, there is no access to Yalbunullup Mountian Bike Trails at the Lakeside Drive/Joondalup Drive intersection. Please use Shenton Avenue to access Lakeside Drive.
