WHISKY + CHOCOLATE

The Wild Rover crew are known to have fun with their whisky. ‘WHISKY & CHOCOLATE’ on Monday 11th July will showcase their favourite hooch paired with another local small business in the neighbourhood, Lixie Chocolaterie.

On the back of the hugely successful ‘WHISKY & CHEESE with The Stinking Bishops’, Johnnie Walker and Classic Malt Ambassador Sean Baxter will again be hosting the evening as he shares his passion for pairing whisky with unique craft products.

Alongside Sean will be the local Surry Hills queen of chocolate, Miga from Lixie Chocolaterie. Since opening the shop eighteen months ago, Lixie Chocolaterie has been a staple for the sweet tooth’s of Surry Hills. Family owned and operated, Miga and the Lixie team have an infectious passion for the craft behind making chocolate and will provide cacao based pairings that will transform whiskies you may have already tasted.

The Wild Rover plays host to numerous whisky events throughout the year, including their staple monthly tasting session for the members of their whisky club. Whisky & Chocolate will be a unique event. Cost of ticket includes membership to The Wild Rovers whisky club, The Whiskey Co-Operative, for those who have not already joined.
