Y.E.S Spring 2025 | Ride, refuel and respond!

Start the morning with a high-energy skateboarding session at Beyond Skateboarding Joondalup, where our two hour group lesson will get you rolling with confidence - perfect for beginners and budding skaters alike. 

After working up an appetite, we’ll head to Lakeside Joondalup for a relaxed lunch break. Participants can bring their own lunch or choose from a variety of food options available at the food court.  

In the afternoon, we shift gears with Let’s Talk First Aid - a hands-on, non-accredited short course that teaches essential first aid awareness. Learn how to respond to emergencies, perform CPR, stop bleeding, and even use a defibrillator.

Ticket information:

• City of Joondalup residents: Tickets available from Monday 15 September 2025, 12pm.


• General public: Tickets available from Monday 22 September 2025, 12pm. 

Important notes:

• P: This is a physical/outdoor activity. Please bring a hat, water bottle, socks, and enclosed shoes. Wear appropriate clothing for the activities and weather conditions.


• BYO: Bring your own meals/snacks/money for extras.


• FYI: Young people will have freedom to explore the venue and direct supervision will be limited. 

Registration and what to bring:

1. Before registering: Ensure the participant is within the specified age range. No refunds for incorrect bookings.


2. Membership form: Complete the Youth Services Membership Form prior to registering. Only one form per young person is needed.


3. Confirmation email: After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with details on what to bring, including:

• your ticket (printed or displayed on a smartphone)


• please complete the waiver (physical copies required on arrival).

Cancellations and refunds:

• For general non-attendance, refunds will only be given if a medical certificate is presented to the City prior to the event. No refunds or credits will be issued if the City is not informed before the event.


• Programs may be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments one day prior or due to factors beyond the City's control. Fees may not be refundable for cancellations due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.
