Looking for a day that’s equal parts fun, creativity, and chill? Join Youth Development at Heathridge Community Centre for our Comic Landscapes and Mindful Clay Workshop - a full-day experience designed to spark imagination while helping teens unwind.
Comic Landscapes
- Start by painting a beautiful sunset landscape on canvas.
- Then, flip the script by adding a playful twist with clear plastic overlays and paint pens — think sharks leaping through the sky, quirky 3D characters, or whatever wild idea you dream up.
- The best part? You’ll take home your one-of-a-kind artwork.
Mindful Clay
- Get hands-on with clay as you learn simple hand-building techniques to create decorative bowls.
- Along the way, practice easy mindfulness exercises that help quiet the mind and keep you present.
Perfect for teens aged 11–18 who want an art experience that’s engaging, creative, and relaxing — without taking itself too seriously. It’s a chance to express yourself, recharge, and walk away with something uniquely yours.
