Welcome to AusArmourfest 2025!

Join us for our annual 3-day event from August 29th to 31st, 2025! Experience the thrill as we take approximately 40 vehicles from our museum collection onto our track for a weekend of excitement. Please note that on Friday, rides will only be available to those who purchase a Commander's Deck pass.

What to expect:

  • Friday, August 29th - WWII Vehicle Viewing Day:
    • Enjoy two shows from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 3 PM.
    • Don’t miss the Grand Parade featuring all vehicles at 3:30 PM!
  • Saturday and Sunday: Each day offers a different lineup of vehicles.
  • Ride Opportunities: Purchase rides in all available vehicles, with prices ranging from $60 to $350, depending on the vehicle. The complete vehicle list will be announced closer to the event!
  • Food Vans: Savor delicious treats from various food vendors throughout the weekend!
  • Panther Ride: Each day, our fearsome Panther tank takes the lead in the grand parade back into the Museum, and you could be riding in the coveted commander's cupola! With just one ticket available to purchase per day, seize your chance for this unforgettable experience through our lucky door prize, or purchase raffle tickets from the Black Dog Ride on the day! Important Information:

  • Save on Tickets: Tickets are cheaper when purchased online compared to buying on the day. Be sure to grab yours in advance to take advantage of the savings!
  • Ride Tickets: Ride tickets for Saturday and Sunday can only be purchased on the relevant day at the separate ride ticket desk inside the museum.
  • Vechicles: Vehicle list is subject to change without notice. If your selected vehicle has mecanical issues, youll receive a refund or an alternative option.
  • Children: Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
  • Photography: Photography and videography are allowed but not for commercial use.
  • Accessibility: The event is wheelchair accessible, with designated pathways and seating areas. However, please note that some tanks may not be wheelchair-friendly. To receive advice on which vehicles are accessible and to discuss any specific needs, we encourage you to contact our team ahead of your visit.
  • Parking: Parking is available on-site. Please arrive early to secure your spot, as spaces may fill quickly during peak hours.
  • Weather: The event will proceed rain or shine. We recommend a sun safe hat and sunscreen for the far north Queensland sunshine!
