Event Description

Little Feet Festival is Perth's favourite free extravaganza for kids of all ages. At this year’s festival, dive into an Octopus’s Garden, where the sea meets the soil, and The Beatles dance with the sea snails!

Festival Highlights

Octo-Groovy Performances: Come Together at the Music Stage for merriment and musical adventures that’ll have you tapping your toes and swaying like seaweed.

Music Stage Schedule. 10.15am - 11am, The Vegetable Plot. 11.10am - 11.25am, Party Pooper sneak peek. 11.35am - 12.15pm, Little Boorloo's Dance Party, 12.30pm - 1.20pm, Ocean Fairy Show. 2.15pm - 3.00pm, The Vegetable Plot.

Makin’ Music: Join the award-winning children’s band The Vegetable Plot for a Songwriting Workshop. Learn about vocal warm-ups and sweet harmonies from Ru Barb, feast on songwriting secrets from Aspara Gus, and put it all together into a fresh melody with the help of Sir Paul McCarrotney.

The Songwriting Workshop starts at 11.15am and pre-registration is required.

Explore the Depths: Join the crew from St Stephen’s School on an immersive voyage through the Abrolhos Islands and into the heart of Stephen the Octopus’s garden. Swim amidst shimmering fish, marvel at the vibrant corals, and visit Stephen our friendly octopus plus all his aquatic friends.

Look up: Check out the big rig, where awesome acrobats perform amazing acts.

Big Rig Schedule. 11am - 11.30am, The Beatle Buzz. 12.10pm - 12.40pm, The 60s Spin. 1.50pm - 2.20pm, Twist Together.

Ripple-riffic Roving Performers: Twist and Shout with the curious creatures wandering through the festival. You might just meet a boisterous brass band or even Sergeant Pepper herself. If you spy a silly sea monster, maybe just Let It Be.

Garden of Wonders: Play all day under the pines, with bucketloads of fun activities like Facepainting, Giant Bubbles, Boatbuilding, Combi Van Crafts and Ninni Ngingyaans (Little Echidnas).
