2 March – Bec Sandridge

A unique stage presence, Bec Sandridge commands audiences with her distinct vocals. She draws upon her folk roots to create 80s-esque, nostalgic-driven pop songs. Inspired by Cyndi Lauper, David Byrne and Prince, Sandridge transports listeners into a sentimental space via fuzzed out guitars, ethereal vocals and arpeggiator synthesizers, and in more tender moments, carries a story with just a guitar.
Bec has supported the likes of The Naked And Famous (NZ), Mitski (US), The Rubens, Missy Higgins, Cub Sport and Montaigne. She was the winner of triple j Unearthed’s Yours And Owls Festival and International Songwriting Competition finalist (Unsigned category) which was judged by Dua Lipa, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Tom Waits.
Far from the sombre connotations their name might evoke, FVNERAL is a celebration of life’s nuanced beauty. Since bursting onto the scene with the release of their debut EP in late 2022, the band had a busy 2023 - from hitting the road across the East Coast with the likes of Trophy Eyes’ John Floreani and Late November, as well as international heavyweights The Aces (US) and KiNG MALA (US), to releasing their sophomore EP ‘HONEST’, which debuted at #27 on the NACC (US College Radio charts).

For the shows scheduled between 13 January to 16 March, doors open at 5pm and close at 8pm. For the shows on 23 March, 30 March and 6 April, doors open at 4pm and close at 7pm. See below for the artist line-up:
