17 February – Jem Cassar-Daley
Supported by Betty
Australia's indie-pop sensation, Jem Cassar-Daley, has emerged as a radiant force since her 2021 debut. With soul-stirring vocals and timeless lyrics, she earned acclaim, notably NIMA New Talent of the Year 2022 and QMA Indigenous Artist of the Year. Recognized as a star to watch in 2023 by Queensland Sunday Mail, Jem's journey includes a dazzling triple j's Like A Version performance and showcases at The Great Escape in the UK. A proud Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung woman, she crafts a transcendent fusion of indie-pop grooves, ensuring her rising star status in the Australian music scene.
Supporting Jem is Inner West up-and-comer, Betty. Betty blends her soulful vocals with folky influences to create her unique genre-blending sound. With two EP’s and and album in the works, she’s one to watch in 2024.
